Why work with an independent health insurance broker?
My services are provided at no additional cost to you. As an independent licensed health insurance broker, I compare plans from multiple trusted insurance carriers, provide personalized guidance, and help you confidently choose coverage that fits your healthcare needs, budget, and long-term goals.
What employee benefits do you help businesses offer?
I help employers explore a variety of voluntary and supplemental benefits, including Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Cancer, and Hospital Indemnity insurance, depending on the needs of their workforce.
Why are employee benefits important for attracting and retaining employees?
A competitive benefits package can help attract qualified employees, improve retention, and demonstrate a commitment
to your team's financial and personal well-being.
Can I customize an employee benefits package for my business?
Absolutely. Benefit packages can often be tailored to your company's size, budget, and the needs of your employees.
Can I offer employee benefits if I have only a few employees?
Yes. Many employee benefit programs are designed specifically for small businesses. Even companies with just a
few employees may be able to offer valuable coverage that supports their team and helps them remain competitive.
What is an ancillary insurance plan?
Ancillary insurance refers to optional coverage that can help with expenses not typically covered by Medicare,
such as dental, vision, hearing, hospital indemnity, cancer, or critical illness insurance.
What is the difference between Original Medicare and Medicare Supplement insurance?
Original Medicare helps cover many healthcare expenses, but it does not pay for everything.
Medicare Supplement insurance, also called Medigap, helps pay certain out-of-pocket costs
left by Original Medicare.

Do I have to enroll in a Medicare Supplement plan?

No. Medicare Supplement plans are optional. Whether one is right for you depends on your healthcare needs,
budget, and long-term coverage goals.

Can I keep my doctor?

Generally, yes. Medicare Supplement plans allow you to see any healthcare provider nationwide who accepts
Medicare patients.
Will Medicare cover me when I travel?

Original Medicare generally provides coverage throughout the United States. Some Medicare Supplement
plans also include limited emergency coverage for foreign travel.

Are prescription drugs covered?

No. Medicare Supplement plans do not include outpatient prescription drug coverage. If you want help paying for prescription medications, you'll generally need to enroll in a separate Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan (PDP).
I can help you compare available Part D plans to find one that best fits your prescription needs and budget.

When is the best time to enroll in a Medicare Supplement plan?

The best time is generally during your six-month Medicare Supplement Open Enrollment Period. During
this period, you can usually purchase any available plan without medical underwriting.
Do I need a Medicare Part D plan if I don't take any medications?
Maybe. Even if you don't currently take prescription medications, enrolling in a Medicare Part D plan when you're first eligible may help you avoid a permanent late enrollment penalty. It also ensures you have prescription drug coverage
if your medication needs change in the future.

How much do Medicare Supplement plans cost?

Premiums vary depending on factors such as your age, location, selected plan, and insurance company.

Is there a penalty if I don't enroll in a Medicare Part D plan when I'm first eligible?
Yes. If you go without creditable prescription drug coverage for 63 consecutive days or more after you're first eligible for Medicare Part D, you may have to pay a late enrollment penalty if you enroll later. In most cases, the penalty is added to your monthly Part D premium and may remain in effect for as long as you have Medicare prescription drug coverage.
